Always love coming here for some donuts! The donuts are a little pricy (around 5-6) depending on the flavor you get. My go too has always been the cream brûlée donut! The custard filling is the perfect balance and not really too sweet which I like since you get the sweetness as from the sugar on top. I've also had the tots here and is super good as well! Theres no indoor seating here so it is definitely a grab and go situation. Service was friendly ans there's a shared parking lot within the shopping center,

Vanilla cake donut brings me to tears - even delivered, the white bag is sealed carefully enough to keep the heat in. The frosting is always still melty by the time it gets to my house! I live very close, so that may be part of it though! Love licking the sugar and frosting from the bottom of the bag!

Some of the best donuts I have ever had. I got the banana pudding, pb&j as well as the s'mores donuts. They were large in portion and the perfect sweet treat to cure any sweet tooth. The pb&j was elite with the perfect amount of jelly on the inside in proportion to the peanut butter on the top. The banana pudding wafers were subtle and the gooey inside was the perfect compliment to the crunchy topping. The s'more's donut was much like a chocolate cake in flavor as well as moist consistency. A perfect compliment to the marshmallow on top. Best donuts in Virginia.

Just a donut review. Lots of unique varieties to choose from. All but one seemed fresh and delicious-could they actually be a day old? The cherry blossom was excellent and fresh. Service friendly but there's not much to taking an order and handing it over . Small place by Whole Foods- plenty of parking. They have breakfast sandwiches and fried chicken- have to try that at some point. $24/6 donuts. Mostly worth it for a special occasion!

Probably the best doughnut I've had all year. It was fire. Took it to go during my errand runs. I put it in the microwave when I got home for about 15 seconds which was a game changer. Highly recommend. This cookie was called the Christmas cookie.

Astro chicken and donuts Heard about this place from a family member and decided to give the food a try. I was told they had a chicken sandwich with a donut as a bun. This restaurant is rather small. Not many seats for indoor dining. They have a fried chicken sandwich called Old Bay All Day. A fried chicken sandwich with a plain don't bun sprinkled with old bay. I love Old Bay seasoning so this was right up my alley. The chicken was crisp and had good flavor. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomato pickle, and a sauce. Overall tastes good. I also ordered medium fries with medium spice and old bay sprinkled on top. The fries had an afterburn. Tasty but got it. They do not give many drink options. Looks like the restaurant is mainly takeout.

Stopped by on the way home to grab some donuts with a friend. I got the tirimisu, plain cake, and samoas donut. I love all the unique donut flavors - the samoas one was quite sweet with the coconut flakes, but the tiramisu donut was surprisingly balanced! The plain cake donut was made fresh so it was definitely my favorite. Counter staff were also incredibly friendly! Next time I come I will try the chicken sandwiches!

I came to Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken on a Saturday morning. The parking lot is huge and shared with multiple retailers. I was nearby and craving breakfast food on Yelp when this suggestion popped up. I ordered the Egg Royale and Tater Tots. The Egg Royale comes with egg, bacon, cheese and your choice of bun between Doughnut, Cheddar Biscuit or Brioche. I picked Cheddar Biscuit. The bacon was well cooked, the Cheddar Biscuit was flaky, warm and with just the right amount of cheese. These Tater Tots were one of the best I have ever tried. The outside is crispy with a nice crunch to each bite while the insides are flavorful, soft and almost a creamy texture. I would come back just for these Tater Tots! Overall the food came out quickly, freshly made and just as I ordered. If I am craving breakfast food I would definitely come back again to try more menu items :)
